Welcome to the new website for Andy Leggett's Centerary Serenaders. The band was formed after The Sopranos Jazz Band disbanded in 2021, and named to commemorate the centenary of the birth of jazz. It is fronted by Andy Leggett on clarinet and saxes, and performs classic jazz repertoire and arrangements often from Andy's time playing with Rod Mason's Jazzband in Germany. Other regular players making up the six piece lineup are David Deakin on trombone and Rachel Hayward on guitar and banjo, together with Ceri Williams or Lewis Taylor on trumpet, Joe Trudgeon or Bill Frampton on bass, and Paul Archibold or Stevie Fry on drums/jazz percussion.
